Until just a few years ago, gender dysphoria—severe discomfort in one’s biological sex—was vanishingly rare. It was typically found in less than .01 percent of the population, emerged in early childhood, and afflicted males almost exclusively.
But today whole groups of female friends in colleges, high schools, and even middle schools across the country are coming out as “transgender.” These are girls who had never experienced any discomfort in their biological sex until they heard a coming-out story from a speaker at a school assembly or discovered the internet community of trans “influencers.” __ Irreversible Damage
Under the US Obama administration and again under the Biden administration, this barbaric and life-destroying perversion of medical care and mental health care is being promoted in schools at all levels, and is protected by government agencies and mainstream media organizations.
Historically, a vanishingly small number of young people will choose to transition — unless they are pushed into it by ideologically driven teachers, mental health professionals, doctors, and social media personalities. As many as 90% of “trans” kids change their minds when they grow up and no longer want to be “trans.”
In total, there have been three large scale follow-up studies and a handful of smaller ones. Only very few trans- kids still want to transition by the time they are adults. Instead, they generally turn out to be regular gay or lesbian folks. The exact number varies by study, but roughly 60–90% of trans- kids turn out no longer to be trans by adulthood. __ Sexology
Detransitioning is not easy if your sexual parts have been hacked off surgically. Medical trans therapy can sometimes be impossible to recover from. The psychological harm to children can often be as bad or worse than the medical and surgical harm.
Once it was considered justifiable to execute a man for stealing horses or cattle. How much more deserving of such a fate are the people who destroy the lives of hundreds of thousands of children in the name of a mass delusional ideology?
The Cass Report in the UK is a caution flag warning that governments have allowed ideological zealots too much power to ruin the lives of children and other residents and citizens. The pseudoscientific zeal of modern leftist ideology must be pushed back mercilessly if citizens of Europe and the Anglosphere are to have a chance for an expansive and abundant human future.
